A Mind Infinite

Infinity: The Views of a Dreamer

First As A Farce…

“Monsieur, Monsieur!,” the cracked voice of a German SS man cries out,

“what knowledge have you off Jewry and dastardly partisans moving through the countryside?”

No knowledge swiftly I reply,

hiding a grin within my very thoughts

In the dark when I take my position among the ranks of the resistance,

I can only smile so wide with a thought of the bullet screaming from my gun connecting to that German man’s ratlike skull who had the audacity to disturb me with his fascist prying around

“Monsieur, Monsieur!”, an angry supporter of de Gaulle shouts out,

“why must you be a sympathizer of the Arab terrorists? Can you not see Algeria is France?”

Oh how I break into a fit of mad laughter with thoughts of the German drone so many years before who tried to tell me all but the same,

and smiling I grip the young man’s shoulders telling him of the one who came before him under a different uniform, suggesting with further laughter that it may be best if he keeps his head low
