A Mind Infinite

Infinity: The Views of a Dreamer

Face In The Mirror

Wasted years gone by feel but a day ago,

with a blink of an eye the years flash by as only yesterday and the reflection in the mirror which haunts me remains alien

All the time lost I can only wonder to where it has gone,

punishment of the cruelest design strangling life from my body for wishing the time had passed by merely a second faster

Wondering where yesterday has gone,

I can but only dream of the years of slumber with the ticking backwards of the clock

With thoughts of anguish and regret, is it so selfish of a wish?

To rewind the clock back for the creation of times of joy which I have never grown to know,

for is it a truly dangerous delusion to be granted the years of joy that were never there to instead fill these wrinkled eyes with memories of happiness?

The man I stare down back with our eyes nearly touching in the mirror who proclaims to know me so well,

I still cannot find myself able to recognize
