A Mind Infinite

Infinity: The Views of a Dreamer

Patrick Arguello

Farewell my beauty,
lovely Nicaragua, I bid you a farewell
Beating in my heart,
Nicaragua pounds strongest
With the love of the oppressed of Nicaragua,
the farewell is almost tearful
Sailing in the sky for justice,
with beautiful revolutionary by my side
Above the blue sky with a grenade clenched in my palms,
out of fraternity with the oppressed in my heart
Not only for you my beautiful Nicaragua,
but the olive groves and the land of Palestine
Though so far away,
the tears of our people bleed out the same
Forgive me dear Nicaragua and Palestine,
outnumbered, my sister in arms and I were captured
Binds on my arms,
they’ve broken my ribs and shot me face down
Remember me dear Palestinian sister,
for I only hope my life was not in vain
Lay my body in my dear Nicaragua,
with the spirit of both oppressed people’s flowing within me
