Culture of Violence

America breeds violence. If one thing is more American than jingoistic flag waving, police brutality and constant international warfare. It is a constant never ending sadistic culture of violence. Violence is embedded within American culture, it’s one of the everlasting American values that has stayed in tact.
It’s motto is best described as “eat the weak.” A motto which stands true. One only needs to take a glimpse at the victims of the American dream; the children of broken homes, veterans of foreign conflicts waged in the interests of the United States governments given blank checks of empty promises of help and the astoundingly shocking number of homeless.

What is the popular attitude towards this? One of purposeful ignorance. Blind eyes turned to the plight plights of others. The willful ignorance only forms a section of the culture of violence. A characteristic trait of shutting out all of which are on the outside of their peaceful gated communities and neatly trimmed lawns with bright green grass.

In a society, where violence is glorified and presented as heroic. Where violence is considered a simple reality to be accepted as a normality. Is it any any surprise that American society breeds a deadly culture of violence, both domestically and internationally?
