A Mind Infinite

Infinity: The Views of a Dreamer

Imagine

Imagine for a single moment,

all the possessions which you have cherished and owned vanish

That each organ in your body turns hard and solid,

pressure on your skull increasing

Feeling the vibrations,

yet, being without voice

without these limbs, without these organs

Never to be put back together again,

to remain in this fashion as time passes by

Can you imagine?

Can you feel such pain in the depths of your imagination?

To know all that you have ever cared for will be of ash?

To realize,

for even a split second, that all of this could suddenly become reality?

That every dream you ever had,

will become dead?

Slow your mind,

and imagine, imagine…

The slowness of decay setting in,

the death of everything you hold dear

To finally realize,

to finally know

That not everything will be okay,

as you were so often told

Though they told you everything would be okay,

oh how they so delightfully grinned promising you this

But can you not see,

they are only attempting to escape this reality

To distract themselves from what is and what could be,

exceptionally imagining life as permanent

As something which will always be,

instead of what could simply, at any moment cease
