The Feast

Germans bearing the iron cross,

emboldened with their swastikas, the mark of death

Goose-stepped across the border line,

plundering little homes of their wealth and possessions

Cruelly laughing as they drag grandfathers from their bed,

the fate of being filled with the fire of German lead

Women mourn the dead,

hiding their little ones from the walls, as the fury of the bombs fall

a man shouts, “We want these bastards out!”

of their rape of our land, their killings of our sons and daughters and the hatred they have spewed across the land!

Plotting silently the villagers join in,

marking down the movements of the German soldiers

It is simple,

The Germans drink as swine, we simply poison the wine!

Weeks go by, the German oppression increases,

the trickery as planned is set in motion

For a great feast,

the Germans, how they drink and eat

Staggering with the poison flowing through their veins,

the town’s people strike back with great fury and anger

Axes meat heads, sickles meet throats,

one by one until the last German has fallen

Celebrating the spring,

with the sacrifice of the fascist German blood
