A Mind Infinite

Infinity: The Views of a Dreamer

Like stars twinkling in the night sky,
memories can’t escape my mind
Compelled to dwell on,
what I try to escape
A prisoner in his cell,
I am the man trapped inside of his own mind
My own personal Pandora’s Box,
a tomb for the remaining bit of sanity
Hopelessness sets in,
feel the gradual decline
A mind that doesn’t recognize the body,
foreign as a needle or a pin in the arm
as the needle it tries to eject itself
Twirling in a bitter sweet agony,
cranial collapse?
Solitary in thought,
there is no escape
I am real,
but what is reality?
Imprisonment by memories,
the breakdown of one’s own mind
