Infinity: The Views of a Dreamer

The Watchmen

Day or night, the watchmen lay concealed, obscured from society,
Pursuing an endless quest to uncloak sacred truths,
Revelling in knowledge as if it were intoxicating with their eagle-eyes
Devouring every word written or spoken, as if it were their own
For there is no fleeing the watchmen, with every stroke of a keyboard, click of the mouse and soft spoken conversation on the telephone,
regardless of where you are they are spying in the dark under their scope watching you too
Their prism knows no boundaries, an endless void consumes all within
A black hole of the information spying age, we are all drawn in and held as cattle within the machine of the watchmen
Our words the blood they harvest within the vials of hard drives and servers to be held eternally
But who watches the watchmen?
